Students interested in Drama have many opportunities to get involved in the performing arts.
Our busy programme is focused on producing powerful production work, with a focus on acting with emotional depth, conviction and control. We produce slick productions with professionalism and a keen eye on innovative use of production technologies.
Opportunitiesinclude the School Drama Production, the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival, our Theatresports Club and Competitions, and the Drama Scholarship Showcase. Alongside these extra-curricular opportunities, each year we have at least three Year Level Drama productions inTe WhareAuhuatanga-BLACKBOX our busyperformance space, which is a fully equipped theatre, providing students with opportunitiesto learn the craft of theatre making.
